Business East Inc, a not-for-profit business consulting entity, reached out to Gloo looking for a new brand and website to align with their newly named organisation, Business Eastern Shore. The organisation had been in operation for 20 years. It had established itself as the go-to for business mentoring, development, connection via events and forums, and recognition through the annual awards for businesses operating on Hobart’s Eastern Shore. A new and vibrant brandmark and website allow Business Eastern Shore to continue its vital contribution to the business community and attract new members and supporters.
Gloo created a new visual identity with a logomark based on an arrow pointing to the east, with overlapping bold colour bars. This represents the land, sea, sky, and sun and the corresponding energy of community activity on the Eastern Shore and beyond. The new visual identity encapsulates the formation of a refreshed organisation, ready to grow and prosper. We also applied this to a strategic plan, signage, event presentations, awards, and social media. We also designed and developed a new website with news, events, awards, and an online membership directory, including a payment gateway.
