What do you do at Gloo? As a senior creative I do a bit of everything from branding to publications, animation and digital design, with everything in between filling up my days at Gloo.
What are your credentials/experience for working in your position? I studied at the UTAS School of Art, and then did further study in design at Shillington College in Melbourne, whilst raising a young family. I freelanced for some amazing clients until starting full time with one. Working remotely allowed me to relocate my family back home to Hobart in 2023 where I met the team at Gloo and the rest is history!
What do you like about working at Gloo? The team, the clients and the location!
What are the values that drive you? Communication, trust and creativity.
What’s your favourite quote? ‘Get. It. Done.’ – Me, daily.
What are your hobbies and interests? I’m a morning person so love to get up and take the dog to the beach, go to pilates, or move my body in some way! Sharing food and experiences with my family and friends is a major part of my days, and also, coffee.
What are your favourite travel destinations? Japan! LOVE IT! My partner has been many times, I have been twice, and we hope to take the kids in the next few years to get their love for it sparked.
What personal projects are you working on? I’m working on a series of artworks which I’m hoping to put into an exhibition in the coming year. A few years back, I owned a wine bar in Melbourne, where I’d host exhibitions, which ignited a fire in me to do my own!
